With over 17 years experience in the residential real estate industry, I have been able to leverage the sales, customer relations management, marketing and social media skills I have acquired over the years into two successful career paths. One as a real estate broker with one of the highest producing firms in our area; and the other as the owner of a successful Interior Consulting firm which offers services such as luxury vacant home staging, color consultations, consulting on renovations for both residential and commercial projects and many more. Now celebrating over 6 years in business, ReFresh Your Space (RYS) has been involved in over $15 Million in residential real estate projects.

My educational background includes graduating from Appalachian State University (1991), as well as attending the Harrington Institute for Interior Design in Chicago (2002-2003). I have also had the good fortune of seeing design styles and trends from all over the world during my 18 years while working for United Airlines, which helped set apart my design aesthetic.

I have been named in 2019 and 2021 as one of the Most Influential People in Real Estate Staging® by the Real Estate Staging Association® (RESA®), the trade organization for the real estate home staging industry. I have also been awarded with a Houzz.com 2019 and 2021 "Best of Houzz Award“ for Customer Service. And, in 2019, I served as the NC State President for the Real Estate Staging Association®.

Along with my work as a real estate broker and interior consultant; in the Spring of 2020 I completed my 3 year term on the Appalachian State University Alumni Council, which is an elected group of 20 Alumni who represent over 130,000 current ASU alumni. I am also on the Alumni Advisory Board and serve as an Alumni Advisor for the Sigma Upsilon chapter of my fraternity at Appalachian State University, Lambda Chi Alpha.

For the past 3 years, I have been on the board for the first ever collaboration between my alma mater, Appalachian State University, and our local Habitat for Humanity with a program called "APP Builds a Home", assisting with their fundraising efforts and community outreach. And when I am not fulfilling any one of these responsibilities, I am also certified as an Instructor for a North Carolina, 4 hour continuing education course for REALTORS® developed by RESA® called Staging to Sell, What Every Agent Should Know®.
